Goals
- To engage in meaningful community service activities that address the needs of the community, such as hunger, homelessness, education, and the environment
- To reflect on these service activities as a group in order to discuss the issues that face many in the community, to better understand different populations in the community, and to develop a greater sense of civic responsibility among the members. Volunteering offers a great service to the community but also can greatly affect the volunteer. This club will offer its members the opportunity to discuss this effect with others and engage in reflection on the personal relevance of their service
- To educate the greater campus about the issues of the community and the opportunities to get involved in addressing these issues.
