What Our Members Say

"Phi Theta Kappa reintroduces a concept many students have long forgotten: self-directed learning. We're given a class outline and a syllabus that says, 'This is what we will do, this is what you should learn, this is how you will be graded.' PTK instead gives members a framework that says, 'What can you do? What can you learn?' And the grading system is simply growth. What Alpha Xi Nu has to offer cannot be taught, only experienced."

~Devyn Nixon, 2010-11 Alpha Xi Nu Co-President

"PTK challenged me to step outside my comfort zone and get truly Involved with campus life. From team work, to problem solving, to leadership - my experiences in PTK gave me a level of personal confidence that I continue to carry into new challenges every day."

~Justin Woodum, 2010-11 Alpha Xi Nu Co-President
