2013 Power of One Conference Application

Applications due March 15th, 2013 by 5pm

Students are required to be enrolled in  a minimum of 5 credits for Spring Quarter 2013, have a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.5 and will be selected based on leadership potential, community/club involvement, and essays.

Please make note of these important deadlines:

You should receive a confirmation email after you submit your application, which confirms your application has been successfully submitted. (If you have applied and have not received a confirmation e-mail, please re-submit your application and/or send an e-mail to diversity@whatcom.ctc.edu or call 360.383.3098.)

If selected to attend this conference, there will be a MANDATORY meeting with the advisor before departing for the conference.  The meeting will be pre-arranged with the advisor and all students are required to attend.

If selected to attend this conference, a $25 deposit is required to hold your spot. If you have any questions, or if you are unable to pay this fee, please contact us at diversity@whatcom.ctc.edu.

This NASPA LGBTQA leadership conference invites students to learn about intersecting identities while promoting social justice.  It is aimed to create a respectful, open, and widely accessible environment in which participants will be challenged to apply the things they learn into their lives after they leave the conference.
