Congratulations, graduates!
We will honor your achievement during WCC’s commencement ceremony, Friday June 15, at 6:30 pm in the Pavilion.
Students who graduated in Summer 2011, Fall 2011, Winter 2012, and those who plan to graduate in Spring 2012 and Summer 2012 are eligible to participate. We hope to see you there!
Here’s the timeline for the event:
After May 4:

RSVP: The priority deadline to RSVP and order your cap and gown has passed. Late RSVPs are now being accepted but with no guarantee for tickets. If you missed the cap and gown order deadline, email regist@whatcom.ctc.edu with "Late Cap & Gown Order" in the subject line. A limited number will be available on the day of the ceremony for $50.00.

Phi Theta Kappa members purchase honor stoles and tassels.

- Pick up cap, gown, tickets, and honor cord between 10:00 am and 2:00 pm in Syre Center.
- Purchase an honors stole from Royal-T.
June 15, 5:45 pm:
- Graduates check in at Syre Center to prepare for commencement.
- Guests with tickets begin seating in the Pavilion. Guests without tickets begin seating in Heiner Theater.
- Commencement begins!

RSVP & Commencement Tickets
Late RSVPs are being accepted with no guarantee for tickets.
Guests are required to have tickets to enter the Pavilion where the live ceremony is held. The majority of guests will be seated in the bleachers. Guests without tickets will be seated in the Heiner Theater. Last year we received many positive comments from guests who watched a live video feed of the ceremony in the Heiner Theater. Guests with children and those who want comfortable seating and easy access to bathrooms will appreciate the Heiner Theater.
- Commemorative Tickets - If you would like to keep a commencement ticket, please stop by the ticket-entry doors in the Pavilion immediately after the commencement ceremony.
Cap and Gown Order
If you missed the cap and gown order deadline on May 4, email regist@whatcom.ctc.edu with "Late Cap & Gown Order" in the subject line. A limited number will be available on June 5th and the day of the ceremony for $50.00 cash only. On June 5th, you can purchase your cap and gown in the Syre Student Center between 10am and 2pm.
Cap, Gown, Tickets, and honor cord pickup
On June 5th, you can pick up everything between 10:00 am and 2:00 pm in Syre Center. After June 5th, you can pickup your order from the Bookstore.

Honor Cords
Honor cords are given to all degree graduates who have earned a cumulative college-level GPA of 3.5 or better in at least 45 WCC credits (or a combination of all WCC and transferred-in credits) by the end of winter quarter. Honor cords are distributed with caps and gowns on June 5 in the Syre Student Center. The honor cord is paid for by the ASWCCC.
Honor Stoles
Students who are graduating from Whatcom Community College's Honors Program will wear an honor stole. Honor stoles can be purchased from Royal-T on June 5 in the Syre Student Center.
Phi Theta Kappa Members
Phi Theta Kappa members should purchase honor stoles and tassels directly from the Phi Theta Kappa International office. For more information, visit the PTK web site at http://recognitions.ptk.org.

Non-personalized announcements are available for purchase at the WCC Bookstore.
