  • Mapping Latino Musical Migrations with Antonio Davidson-Gomez

WCC's World Languages Department and Humanities Washington host KCTS Educational Servies Manager Antonio Davidson-Gomez for free Speakers Bureau Event, 3-4 p.m. May 21 at Heiner Theater.

Whatcom Community College and Humanities Washington invite the community to an engaging conversation with Antonio Davidson-Gomez, a member of the 2012-'14 Humanities Washington Speakers Bureau. This free event takes place 3-4 p.m. Tuesday May 21 at Heiner Theater on campus. In this hands-on experience, participants will play instruments from U.S. Latino and Latin American traditions and literally "connect the dots" on a map to see how Latinos have contributed to popular music in the U.S. For more information, contact Courtenay Chadwell-Gatz, WCC World Languages Department, cchadwell@whatcom.ctc.edu, 360.383.3507.
