Arrival and Airport Pickup

Arrivals

Students are asked to schedule their flights to the US to correspond with the suggested arrival dates. Homestays and Residence Life apartments are not available until the arrival dates, and students wlll be resposible for arranging their own temporary accomodations.

Airport pick up

New Students arriving on the suggested arrival dates:
WCC provides airport pick up service from SeaTac to Bellingham for all new students living in WCC’s housing (Homestay Program or Residence Life Apartments). This service is included in your housing placement fee and students must arrive on the suggested arrival dates between the hours of 7am-9pm.
 
At least 2 weeks before you arrive please email housing@whatcom.ctc.edu and provide:
  • Date of arrival
  • Time of arrival
  • Flight number
  • Airline name
When you arrive at SeaTac airport, please collect your baggage, go directly to baggage claim #1 and wait there. A  WCC staff member will be at baggage claim #1, holding a WCC sign and will help you with ground transportation to Bellingham.

New Students not arriving on the suggested arrival dates:
WCC will make shuttle reservations for new students not arriving on the suggested arrival dates, but there will not be a WCC staff member at the SeaTac airport helping students to get from Seattle to Bellingham.
 
Current/Returning Students or Students:
WCC does not provide airport pick up service for current/returning students. We recommend the Bellair Airporter Shuttle, which provides service from SeaTac to Bellingham airport.
 
Guests:
Guests need to make their own travel and hotel arrangements, as they are not permitted in homestays or residence life apartments.
