Description. Music faculty member Christopher Roberts will show a short documentary filmed in Papua New Guinea on the encounter of traditional musicians from very different cultures. As a student, Roberts strapped his double bass on his back and went to one of the most remote parts of the world to ask questions about human music. The people in the villages of Papua New Guinea taught him many surprising things. Then they put him to work writing the music down exactly.
