I was able to take all the classes I needed at Whatcom before my junior year of college, which saved me a great amount of time and money. The advising from the International Student Advisor was very precise and helpful, which resulted in successful transfer to Western Washington University."-

"When you go to a foreign country as an international student it is always exciting and scary. In my case I was excited about meeting new people. Through Whatcom's International Friendship Club it was easy to meet new people. The IFC organizes trips and plans events for exchange students and any other (American) student who is interested. This is a great way to meet people in the US and other international students. It also gives you the chance to go to places in Washington State you would never see otherwise." -

" The International Program at Whatcom Community College is outstanding. I decided to come to Whatcom Community College in 2003. That decision has been one of the best I have made in my life, and it has been a life changing experience for me. I want to emphasize Whatcom having great faculty. Teachers at Whatcom have been my teachers, best friends, and mentors to me. They show love, care, encouragement, and support toward students, and they are always available for students.
