Whatcom Community College offers degree programs approved by the Washington State Approving Agency for the enrollment of those students who are eligible under Veteran Administration (VA) Education Benefits programs. Eligible veterans and dependents of veterans must apply for admission to the college and should contact the WCC's VA office as early as possible before enrolling.

Staff in WCC's VA office submit applications for benefits to the Veterans Administration on behalf of students and certify their quarterly enrollments. Eligible students can be certified only for courses that apply to their declared degree program. All veterans benefits recipients are required to report program changes, quarterly credit changes, and changes to marital and family status to WCC's VA office. Additionally, recipients are required to maintain satisfactory academic progress according to the college's policy.

Failure to comply with VA regulations may result in termination of VA benefits.

For more information, contact the WCC's VA office at (360) 383-3015 or by emailing .
