PRESIDENT'S WELCOME 

On behalf of the Board of Trustees and the faculty and staff of Whatcom Community College, I want to extend the "Whatcom Welcome." We appreciate your consideration of Whatcom as a place where you can further your learning and we thank you for taking the time to visit our site. 

Whatcom Community College is an institution that can help you get from wherever you are in life, to where you want to be. Our goal is to deliver a variety of educational opportunities for the members of our immediate community and beyond. Whatcom's tradition of serving the community with a student-centered approach is what makes our college so special. We are committed to assisting our students in achieving success in their academic pursuits and collegial experiences. Whether you are preparing to transfer to a university, pursuing career training, or participating in courses for personal or professional enrichment, Whatcom is a great place to be. It all starts here.

In addition, the courses offered through Community Education provide for additional lifelong learning opportunities. Whatcom is located in Bellingham, WA, conveniently situated between Seattle and Vancouver, BC, as well as nestled between the San Juan Islands and Cascade Mountains. The campus is one of the most beautiful in the state and boasts high-tech resources, including campus-wide wireless access. Student life is active and exciting with numerous student clubs, activities, and sports; there's something for everyone!
