The Nursing program requires a minimum grade of B (3.0 GPA) in each of these program prerequisite courses...
  • ENGL& 101 (5 credits) English Composition I
  • MATH& 146 - Statistics
  • CHEM& 121 - Introduction to Chemistry OR a higher-level Chem course
  • BIOL& 260 - Microbiology
  • BIOL& 241 (5), Human Anatomy and Physiology 1
  • BIOL& 242 (5), Human Anatomy and Physiology 2
  • PSYC& 200 - Lifespan Psychology
  • ANTH& 235 - Cross Cultural Medicine (recommended, not required)
  • If you intend to take prerequisite courses somewhere other than WCC, please check with an Advisor regarding the transferability of the course you plan on taking.
  • Applicants must be currently certified as a Nursing Assistant in the state of Washington.
