Who We Are

The WCC Foundation strengthens educational opportunities by providing student scholarships, supporting faculty and staff development, and assisting with key college initiatives. Established in 1987, the Foundation has a long history of meeting student and community needs.

Recent achievements of the Foundation and its donors include:

• Awarding $126,000 in donor-funded academic scholarships to WCC students
• Contributing more than $230,000 this past year in College support
• Honoring outstanding work by college faculty and staff through the Judy Hoover Award for Excellence, Classified Staff Excellence Award, and the Puget Sound Energy Faculty Excellence Awards
• Partnering with businesses and organizations to help meet campus facilities and equipment needs
• Providing funding for tutoring, outreach and other important student services
• Sponsoring special events and college activities that promote community building
