Extended Business Hours

From April 1 to April 15, Registration, Entry & Advising, Business Office/Cashier and Financial Aid will be open 8 a.m. - 5 p.m. Monday through Friday. Information Desk and most other offices are open 8 a.m. - 5 p.m. Monday through Friday. Student Life is open 9 a.m. - 5 p.m Monday through Thursday and 9 a.m. - 4 p.m. on Fridays.

Local Writers Conference Scholarship

Application deadline extended! The WCC Foundation is accepting applications for the Anna Rosemary Harris Memorial Chuckanut Writers Conference Scholarship. This scholarship will cover the cost of attending the annual Chuckanut Writer’s Conference this spring, and is named in memory of WCC student Anna Harris. Application deadline is now Friday, April 18. Application and more info here.

Student Job Fairs May 15 and 20

Meet with local employers in a wide-range of fields 10 a.m.-2 p.m. Thursday, May 15 at the WCC Job Fair in SSC. A Health Professions Job Fair will be held 10 a.m.-1 p.m. Tuesday, May 20 at the Health Professions Education Center. Come prepared! The week of May 5, the Career Center is offering resume review and interview practice sessions. Call 360.383.3080 to schedule your appointment.


Basketball Season: That's a Wrap!

The winter sports season has come to an end, and Whatcom's Men's and Women's Basketball teams have been recognized for their standout performances by the Northwest Athletic Association of Community Colleges (NWAACC).

In just his first year as WCC men’s basketball head coach, David Dunham has been recognized as NWAACC Northern Region Coach of the Year, and for the first time in College history, both a WCC men’s and women’s basketball player clinched the NWAACC Northern Region MVP in the same year.
