Spring Transfer Fair April 28

Plan to transfer after Whatcom? Learn more about credit transfer, degree programs, how and when to apply at the Spring Transfer Fair 9 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. April 28 in the Syre and Heiner foyers. There will be admissions reps from Western, UW, WSU, Seattle University, Central, Art Institute of Seattle, Bastyr, Evergreen College, Eastern, Cornish, Hawaii Pacific University, University of Idaho and more!

Commencement RSVP Deadline May 9

Let's celebrate! Spring commencement is just around the corner, and the deadline to RSVP, secure tickets and order your cap & gown is Friday, May 9. Plan ahead for Whatcom Community College's commencement ceremony on Friday, June 20 at 6:30 p.m. in the Pavilion, and RSVP here.

Student Job Fairs May 15 and 20

Meet with local employers in a wide-range of fields 10 a.m.-2 p.m. Thursday, May 15 at the WCC Job Fair in SSC. A Health Professions Job Fair will be held 10 a.m.-1 p.m. Tuesday, May 20 at the Health Professions Education Center. The week of May 5, the Career Center is offering resume review and interview practice sessions.

Basketball Season: That's a Wrap!

The winter sports season has come to an end, and Whatcom's Men's and Women's Basketball teams have been recognized for their standout performances by the Northwest Athletic Association of Community Colleges (NWAACC).

In just his first year as WCC men’s basketball head coach, David Dunham has been recognized as NWAACC Northern Region Coach of the Year, and for the first time in College history, both a WCC men’s and women’s basketball player clinched the NWAACC Northern Region MVP in the same year.
