Happy New Year! It’s FAFSA Time!
Students can apply for educational funding programs (Pell Grants, State Need Grants, Work Study, Scholarships & Loans) by completing the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). Now that the New Year is upon us, it’s time to apply for the 2013-‘14 academic year. Already receiving financial aid? Great! Remember that you must fill out the FAFSA annually. Whatcom’s deadline for Priority Awarding is March 15. If you're transferring to a four-year school, be sure to confirm their deadlines, which could be earlier. For step-by-step details about WCC's awarding and distribution process, please visit WCC’s Financial Aid Web Page.
